Think, Act, Feel

In Model 25 of Thinking for Success, John explores a simple but powerful shift: Think. Act. Feel. Too often, we reverse the order. We feel something, act on that emotion, and only afterward stop to think about what happened. But what if we learned to think first? John uses an everyday example: someone cuts you off in traffic. Instead of immediately reacting with frustration, pause and think. Maybe they’re dealing with an emergency. Maybe there’s something happening that you can’t see. That thought changes your next action. You let them over instead of reacting in anger, and afterward, you feel good knowing you responded with patience and grace. Think → Act → Feel reminds us that while we can’t always control what happens around us, we can be intentional about how we respond. In this video, John shares how changing the order can change the outcome.
